1. Agreement to terms

These Terms and Conditions ('Terms') govern your use of cine-luxltd.com and your purchase of lens mounts, adapters, and cinema rigging accessories from Cinelux Ltd ('Cinelux', 'we', 'us').

By placing an order request, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract.

Please read these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Payment Policy, Shipping Policy, and Returns Policy before ordering.

3. Order process and contract formation

Display of products on the website is an invitation to treat, not a binding offer.

When you submit an order request, you make an offer to buy on these Terms. A contract is formed only when we send written acceptance (usually email).

We may decline orders (for example, stock unavailable, delivery constraints, or pricing error) without liability beyond refunding any payment taken in error.

You are responsible for the accuracy of configuration choices, sizes, and delivery details submitted at checkout.

4. Products, descriptions, and availability

We aim to describe mounts and adapters accurately with images, dimensions, and specifications. Minor variation in colour, grain, or finish may occur especially where materials are natural.

Weights and dimensions are approximate unless marked as guaranteed tolerance.

If a product becomes unavailable after you order, we will offer alternatives, delay dispatch with your consent, or cancel with a full refund.

4a. Specifications and tolerances

Published datasheets and compatibility charts prevail over general marketing copy. Dimensions are in millimetres unless stated otherwise.

Cinelux drawings and CAD remain our intellectual property — reverse engineering for commercial clone products is not permitted.

Export control: buyers are responsible for compliance when re-exporting mounts to restricted territories.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are in GBP unless stated. See our Payment Policy for how and when to pay.

We may correct pricing errors before acceptance. If an error affects an accepted order, we will explain options including cancellation with refund.

6. Delivery

Delivery terms are set out in our Shipping Policy. Time estimates are not guaranteed unless we expressly agree a fixed date in writing.

Delays caused by events outside our reasonable control (see force majeure) are not a breach of contract.

7. Your statutory rights and returns

Nothing in these Terms limits your legal rights as a consumer under UK law.

International orders (EU, Switzerland, and worldwide) are accepted on the same Terms. Where you order from outside the UK, mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence (including Switzerland) apply in addition to these Terms; prices are quoted in GBP and converted by your bank or payment provider, and any import VAT or customs duties are payable by the recipient.

8. Warranties and support

Manufacturer or our warranty terms, where offered, are stated on product pages or your acceptance email.

Warranties do not cover misuse, unauthorised modification, or wear and tear.

To make a warranty claim, contact us with proof of purchase and a description of the fault.

9. Liability

We are responsible for loss or damage caused by our breach of these Terms or negligence, but not for loss that is unforeseeable.

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

For consumers, our liability for any single order is generally limited to the price paid for those goods unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (for example lost profit) except where unlawful to exclude.

10. Intellectual property

Content on cine-luxltd.com (text, images, logos, layout) is owned by or licensed to Cinelux. You may not copy or exploit it without permission.

You may print pages for personal shopping purposes only.

11. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the website (for example hacking, introducing malware, scraping data commercially, or harassing staff).

We may suspend access where we reasonably believe misuse has occurred.

12. Force majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including strikes, transport disruption, severe weather, pandemics, or supplier failure.

We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and keep you informed.

13. Complaints

Contact info@cine-luxltd.com in the first instance. We aim to acknowledge complaints within two working days and resolve within fourteen working days where possible.

Consumers may use alternative dispute resolution schemes where applicable; we will provide details on request.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction for consumers resident in the UK, without affecting mandatory protections in your country of residence where applicable.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. The version on the website at the time of your order request applies to that order unless we agree otherwise.
